That’s also a pretty good description of the North Korean situation right now; and come to think of it, we did this with the Soviet Union in the ’70′s as well. Ronald Reagan’s greatest contribution to the winning of the Cold War was to quit propping the enemy up. If that sounds like a no-brainer, trust me – a lot of people, even some “conservatives” didn’t see it that way at the time…
