What will we believe in the future

Ilkka is guessing what people will believe in the future. I agree with the direction of his guesses. With history as our guide, it’s safe to say that everyone in future will hold beliefs well to the left of those of anyone alive today. Similarly, all of your beliefs will be dangerous reactionary after enough time has passed.

This process is generally known as "progress."

    It’s true, and I think it applies in the non-leftist direction as well. Consider HBD – my belief is that HBD is poised to burst into the mainstream much more quickly than some pessimists realize. It’s popping up in places one wouldn’t have imagined even three years ago.

    As another example, consider what Dennis Mangan says here about diet. I believe the current wisdom about grains vs. red meat vs. fat vs. whatever will be rejected within my lifetime.
